My Story

Are you in menopause, either pre or post menopause?  Has your Doctor recommended estrogen, which, by the way, causes breast cancer?  If so, you possibly have said “no” to the hormone replacement therapy.  Or have you had a hysterectomy?  If either of these applies to you, please take five minutes to read my story.

My name is Lynne and I am now 53 years old.  My story starts about 6.5 years ago after having a child at age 42. I was told the fibroids left in me after the birth (which caused heavy bleeding) were too large to destroy with laser surgery and I needed a very invasive surgery: a hysterectomy.  Yes, this is a very invasive surgery.  Only recently, while watching a Dr. Oz segment, which aired in February 2010, did I find out just how invasive this surgery is.  I mention this because I need you to understand how recently all this has happened.   If I would have known how dangerous and life-changing this surgery was, then I may have decided to keep the fibroids in me.  Well, trusting the medical profession, I had my surgery in 2003 at age 46.  My daughter was 4 years old at the time.  Let me also point out that I was always a size 4 to 6 prior to this.  I was so thin after having my 4th child that my OB-GYN told me that I was too thin.  At 42 that’s a good thing.  For the first 6 months after my surgery I had no weight gain.   A year after the surgery I was up by almost 15 lbs.  Mind you, I was eating right and rollerblading, etc.  Personally, I thought it was caused by stress, so I decided that once I made a life move, I would be all set to lose the weight.  Wrong!  It actually got worse.  I was up to 20 lbs. weight gain by my second year, and I was struggling to lose the extra weight with various diets.

I would Google or Yahoo search terms like post “hysterectomy” weight gain and “premenopausal” weight gain and would get things back like Wu-Yi Tea or menopausal drops, etc.  I would then do those religiously to no avail.  About that time I lost my job, so the second stressful life event occurred.  Yes, I a single mom would now have to try to support my family with no job.  I then found my spiritual side and made sure life was not going to get the best of me.  When I was up and running I found WOMEN TO WOMEN support.  It was a good program, but I could not stomach the herbs that needed to be taken.  So I was once more a failure!  Girls, we need to look good.  Fat was not an option.  So I then discovered the Jillian program which basically was filled with 60 minutes of (high) aerobics and some additional support with vitamins, etc.  I again kept the program up for 6 weeks with no results but weight gain.  I now look back and know the weight gain was from muscle and not fat, but the scale went up, so I really didn’t care

I grew exhausted, more depressed, and ready to give up trying to find the cure for fat.  I knew I had to search more.  I then saw the Marie Osmond story about Nutrisystem and knew she was about my age.  I figured that if she was in pre-menopause or menopause, maybe that diet would work.   It actually was a very good diet but too expensive on my budget.  I worked with a nutritionist and a dietician which revealed some secrets to me.  They stated that if you have messed up your metabolism via stressful events, menopause, as well as the surgery, you can diet to death and most likely you won’t lose.  I did lose.  I lost 7 lbs. in two months.   So after that expensive diet I took a break for 6 months.

My life took a change again – this time for the worse.  My daughter, who had suffered a traumatic brain injury, was doing poorly.    If any of you have had friends or family in car accidents, you know that when you have a brain injury your trauma can change from month to month.  Hers did change and she had a severe mood swing and needed my help.  This was my 3rd stressful life event.

Why am I telling you this?  YOU NEED TO GET IT!  Stress alone can cause weight gain.  Add to that a hysterectomy, then menopause, and Honey, you’re dead.  I read and read and read some more and, seriously, there is little or no support for this topic.  I would find in every article I read about women in menopause that it’s typical to gain 15 – 20 lbs.  Okay, so do we keep it on?  No one revealed how to take it off.  It seems like “get 50 and get fat” and who cares?  I do, and I want to help women and men. Yes, this will help men too!  Do this with your hubbies or boyfriends.  If you look good, don’t you want them to also? Don’t give up!  There is help.  I am here today to say that in FIVE short weeks I lost my 25 lbs. and you can too. This is a miracle as far as I am concerned.  It is inexpensive and easy to do.  What is it?  It’s HCG.  (See pic at end of post)

I started searching again, this time for fat burners because most of my weight was around my stomach area.  I thought maybe I could burn that stuff off.  I ran across this article on HCG which drew my attention immediately.  I started reading and researching everything I could find.  I could not find anything negative.  There is a statement, and I will put it out also, that you should check with your Doctor before starting any treatment.  I did, and she very directly said “no”.  When I asked her why I couldn’t start the protocol, she could not come up with a reason.  Keep in mind that, other than being 25 lbs. overweight, I was extremely healthy.

The only problem I was having was my hot flashes for the last 4 years.  I knew that I could do nothing about this because, you recall, I would not take hormones.  Guess what!  To my surprise the first 4 days into my protocol my hot flashes disappeared.  Wow!  It’s almost like a miracle cure for fat loss.  I know it sounds too good to be true.  I thought the same thing.  I was a skeptic as well; but look, 6 weeks later everything is gone!  My skin has been smoother and most of my mid-life wrinkles have magically disappeared.  I have no idea why, but it’s true.

P.S. Women, this is not just a woman’s diet.  It works for men as well.  Men have mid-life menopause also.  They get the stomach which is not healthy to their heart.

YES, 25LBS LOST IN 5 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING RESULTS
