Do women gain weight after menopause?

This itself is a million dollar question.  Survey says:  The results of a number of medical studies indicate that menopause is associated with a progressive increase in weight, and a redistribution of body fat to the abdominal region. The redistribution of weight tends to land on your thighs and stomach which makes you look like a army tank.  My BMI (body mass index) was at 28 when I started this protocol.  This is not in the red zone yet but its at health risk. (heart disease) As this new insurance laws are passed we will need to keep our BMI at 24 or less or we will be forced to pay the high insurance rates.  Thats right!  Forced.  You can easily look up yours on a BMI chart off the internet.  See if you are at risk.  I am sure companies will start letting “fat people go”.  Seems pratical if their rates go up due to you.  So lets be prepared to fight back.  This is the time.  Lets do it!

    This is true…it happened to me, too. It seems your metabolism really slows down after menopause and the weight just piles on. Diets are a struggle.

    Thanks for the comment Deb! This is true and it has everything to do with the metabolism. It slows down and in some case like mine it stops. It really doesn’t matter how hard you exercise or eat correctly your body turns food into fat. This protocol resets your metabolism giving it a second chance. This is hard to believe but if you read the entire protocol posted on the sight you will see how this works.
